Automated, objective English testing. Results in minutes, at any scale.
En savoir plusEnglish Benchmark Young Learners measures the four core skills — reading, listening, writing and speaking — through activities pitched at the child's age and level.

An adult test given to an eight-year-old mostly measures their anxiety. English Benchmark is built the other way round: the child plays, and the teacher gets a detailed progress report identifying each pupil's strengths and what to work on. Parents get the same report, in language they can read.
Designed for this age group, not scaled down from an adult test.
Reading, listening, writing, speaking — none of them left out.
Strengths and areas to improve, pupil by pupil, for teacher and parent alike.
English Benchmark is a formative assessment, not a certifying exam: it places the pupil and tracks progress. For recognised certification, the pupil later sits a certifying Pearson test once they are old enough and ready.

No. There is no pass or fail. It places the child on a scale and shows what they can do — which is exactly what a teacher needs in order to adjust the lesson.
